This is a question I have asked myself and I would bet that many of you have at some point in the past. You may even be thinking it right now.

But what does it mean to be “[download id="6"]”?

We were all born with talents, some of us are good at music, others are great with engineering, many are fantastic at communicating with people, others it writing. The list goes on and on but the bottom line is we all have a talent.

That talent can make you rich, it really can.

The mechanic working in a garage can become rich if he forms a mental image in his mind of having a chain of garages across the country and he is the owner.

The writer can become rich if the write a best seller or start a publishing company.

They have used their talents to become rich and this can be said for everyone who is willing to use that talent.

You can use your talent to build your business but you must have the right tools, even if you do have the right tools you may not use them in the correct way.

Let’s look at the old favourite, Facebook and network marketing.

Now two network marketers may have the same talent of being able to communicate with people, build relationships with people and just be a people person.

However one will succeed on Facebook where the other will fail. Why they both have the same talent and they both have the same tool, Facebook.

The one that succeeds is the one that uses the tool in the correct manner. That person has developed a new talent while the other has not.

This means that you can succeed at any business you want even if you don’t have the right talent. You can always learn a new skill so that you are not stuck in the one thing.

This is essential because you may not like the thing you do, but you do it because of your talent. You can always change this and you should grab the opportunity with both hands when the time arises.

You may even be in a place where it is not possible to do the thing you want at this time. That does not mean you should forget about it, in fact you should use it as an opportunity to get you where you want to be.

While you are doing this thing, think about where you will be, form a mental image in your mind and tell yourself that this is a stepping stone to achieving your goal.

You can do anything you want with the talent you have or you can learn a new talent. Either way you can be rich from your talents.

There are two ways that you can build your Network Marketing business. First chase your family and friend and keep badgering them until you become an NFL (No Friends Left). You can stand in shopping malls pestering complete strangers and leave fliers on cars.

Or second, you can work from the comfort of your own home and all your leads and business come to you and also keep your credibility in network marketing.

Which one would you prefer to do?

Well mine, like most people is the second and it’s called attraction marketing. I want to share with you my 5 reasons why you need attraction marketing in your business. These are just my 5, there are many more but these are the ones that have really made my life so much better.

1. First and foremost, you position yourself as a leader even if you are brand new to this industry. You can start simple by learning a particular skill, say how to generate leads on Facebook. Write some articles and post them on the internet. By helping others first you will help yourself in the long run. Who you would prefer to do business with, somebody who has taken the time to show you how to do something like generate leads on Facebook or somebody who has no interest in you and just pitches their business opportunity to you?
2. Attraction marketing coupled to a great Lead Generation System will sort all the time wasters from the serious people for you. All this can be done on auto pilot so you only talk with the most qualified people. Imagine cold calling 50 people a day who have no interest in what you have to offer. How much time is that going to take? You have no idea that they don’t care about your product or service so all you are on is a fishing trip. You might get a bite but don’t count on it. With an attraction marketing system and lead generation system you can show your product or service to 10 times that amount 24 hours a day 7 days a week 365 days a year. Sounds good right!
3. No selling. When I started out I did not want to sell and was informed by my upline that this is not a selling business. Great I thought until you find out you have to sell products to make money. I’m not a sales person and I never wanted to be but with attraction marketing there is no need to learn how to sell. This is because it’s about building relationships and trust with people. I only ever buy from people who I trust, never from people who offer no value.
4. Attraction marketing is about branding you and not your company. There could be millions of people all promoting the same MLM company but there is only one you so you can stand out. If all those people are using the same replicated website and company literature what differentiates them from each other? Nothing, they are all offering the same thing but if you are using attraction marketing you will be marketing yourself and your skills to help others by adding value. This was a breakthrough for me when I found attraction marketing and paired that up with a lead generation system which can be fully customised to brand me as the product. This is very important.
5. The ability to start earning an income from multiple sources so I could learn the skills needed to become successful in this industry. By making small commissions on products but having different commission streams money can be made from day one. I look as my primary business as a pension fund, it’s where I will get my residual income from and the biggest part of my income. However I am not relying on my primary business as an only source of income which can take years to build up. By learning attraction marketing and having a lead generation system in place has kept me in the game for longer as it has never cost me any money.

That’s my 5 reasons why you must learn attraction marketing. Yours might very well be different from mine and they will be the reasons why it has helped you.

If you have a Facebook profile the chances are that you belong to a few groups. Groups are a great place to meet people and get yourself to stand out. Some are great at this but other stand out but for all the wrong reasons.

Post on group walls is a great free advertising method that you should be utilizing on a regular basis but what exactly should you be posting on group walls. First you will have to know how to make a Facebook group which is pretty simple, just follow the online instructions.

Well this is the 3 different things that I like to post on group walls. You will notice that there isn’t a business opportunity, forced matrix, over spill, ground floor, turnkey, lock your position in today, we launch in 3 days and we’ll build your business for you anywhere in sight and for very good reason. It don’t work guys!

1. The first one I love to do is post links back to my blog of my latest post. This is a great one because if you have your own self hosted blog it’s yours, you own it. It can’t be shutdown like your Facebook account and you can post whatever you like. This is where people can find out what value you have to offer, therefore you start to build relationships and trust with your readers. I even post older blog posts if I think that they add value. I still get comment on post that are a couple of months old. Over a period of time you will build up a lot of posts you can add to your different groups. Don’t forget to ask people to share your posts at the end of each article, this will increase your traffic.
2. The second thing I do is post links back to my capture pages. I don’t do this on a regular basis as I have been getting better results from my blog. However it’s good to mix things up a bit and a capture page is a good way to get people onto your list. Also a capture page is just that, something to exchange information for a name, email address and phone number. Your blog is full of content and value. It can show people how to do something there and then. A capture page can’t until the person has filled out the opt-in form. Don’t get me wrong there is nothing wrong with capture pages but I am getting better results with blogs.
3. Lastly every now and then I post motivational, inspirational and personal growth quotes. People love to read quotes and I see quite a few around the status updates everyday but there is nothing wrong with adding them to groups. There are loads of places on the web where you can get free quotes, just Google it.

That’s my 3 and I would love to know what kind of things you guys like to post. You don’t need to keep promoting the same business opportunity that another 60 odd people are promoting. Build up your list of blog post on Notepad as well as quotes and capture page posts.

Just a word of caution and please read this. Take your time when making posts and rotate your post every time. You should spread your posting through the day or you will get your account shutdown.

As we are all aware social media is a great way to connect with people from around the world. Your social media success depends on how well you build relationships.

It has made the world a smaller place but has made it so easy to build relationships and businesses wherever you are in the world.

All social media sites are to help you start to build relationships with potential prospects and business partners.

This all starts with the friend request and it’s the one thing that so many people get wrong. And I don’t mean just a little bit wrong but completely wrong.

Here’s what most people do. They sit on Facebook and just add friends without sending a message. Not even a hello or how are you as they are more focused on the quantity rather that the quality of relationship.

So we know that’s lot’s of people don’t send welcome messages but you know what I don’t get hung up on it I just accepting them and send them a welcome message.

It’s actually a great opportunity for you to take the lead and find out more about them.

My mentor Jordan Schultz likes to keep this whole thing really simple and told me to just welcome them and ask a simple question.

The question is “What do you do?”

I have found that by taking this approach I get more response. One of the reasons is people love to talk about themselves. Some more than others, I have had whole articles and life stories from one or two people.

I think it’s a great question to ask and it will get your conversation going and it can lead into all sorts of other questions. You really will find out a lot about somebody just from starting with that question.

But here’s the thing, even though most people don’t send a welcome message I still accept them and send a message with that question. They still don’t respond!

How would you feel if you were talk to me at a party of at an event and I just completely blanked you?

You are not going to think to highly of me are you but that’s what so many people on social media sites are doing everyday.

My post today is a bit of a rant and if you are reading this and thinking OMG I do this, then just spend a little time each day responding to your messages. It is so much more fun as well than just clicking the add friend button.

And if you are feeling frustrated when people don’t respond don’t worry about it. At the end of the day it’s not you it’s them.
