Having a social media marketing plan in place is extremely important to your success online. Without it you could end up spending a lot of wasted time being non productive on things that may seem important but you lose sight of other things.
The importance of social media and having this plan is so that you can balance out your day so that you get the most work done which is important to your business.
So many people are not making the money they would like too not because they are lazy but because they are focusing too much on one area when they need to put equal focus on all areas. Your social media marketing plan should consist of keyword research, writing articles for your blog and article directories, videos, posting content to networking sites, connecting with people, and prospecting.
If you are looking at that and thinking you can’t fit all that into a day they you don’t have a plan in place to achieve this. If you are able to put 6 hours a day into your business they I will show you how you can achieve this.

- 1 hour keyword research for blog and video.
- 1 hour writing your post and uploading to your blog or article directory, also to your video directory.
- 1 hour spent adding content to all of the social media websites.
- 1 hour connecting with people, answering messages and checking updates.
- 1 hour to contact prospects and start building a relationship with them.
- And now you have a spare hour to do what you want with, which could be posting more content and building relationships.
Social Media Marketing Plan Made Simple
All of this has to do with how much time you have each day, it is also going to help you with your social media branding as people will see you on a consistent daily basis producing fresh content.
As you can see it is a very simple break down and you don’t have to do the video, why not write two pieces of content each day. All of this work goes towards how much social media content you have out there, the more you have the greater you chance of success. Of course it has to be top quality as well.
Now I said early that I had a little cheat for you, well it’s not really a cheat is more a way of doing things a bit quicker. There is nothing wrong with spending a day doing your keyword research or writing article for the whole week.
In fact I always do all my keyword research first and get around 15 to 20 keywords, it then a simple case of writing the article. Your social media marketing plan does not have to be complicated, it just something you need to stick to.
