The Science of Thinking
In chapter 8 of The Science of Getting Rich we move on to thinking and how thinking can change the way we build our business.
To be honest I thought that mindset and thinking was pretty much the same thing until I read this chapter but it turns out that they are different.
The thinking part of the process is forming a mental image in your mind of the things you want to achieve. Your “why” is the thinking part of your business, that is the reason why you are doing your business in the first place.
With your why we should be forming mental images of those things and living them in our minds until we achieve them.
It is not the vague things that lots of people want like having more money or more time with there family. If you think about it that’s what everyone wants. This is the things that are important to you and that will make your life better and those around you better.
We have all had prospects on the telephone who just want more money, and the thing is they don’t really know why they want it, they just know they want it. They have no idea what they want to do with their new found wealth so they have not really thought about what their problems are.
They just think that money will solve the problem. Unless they go deeper they will never know.
With regards to our “why” we must think and image it all of the time. We cannot just set aside time to think about our why if the rest of the time we are not imaging ourselves in that successful life.
Take the time to think about your business and why everyday and keep that mental image in your mind until you have all that you want.
