It’s the start of a new month and so I started to check my early August states for my blog on Google Analtyics and found something interesting. The vast majority of the keywords searches are for Inspirational.
I checked back through July and the same pattern emerged. The inspirational keeps popping up as a single word or in phrases. This got me thinking as to why this word is so prominent at this time of year.
Maybe people are enjoying the summer and are just returning from a holiday abroad, maybe feeling a little depressed at the thought of going back to work.
Could that the world need a bit of inspiration at the moment. I don’t know the answer but I have found a great clip on Youtube to share with you.

In this Facebook training I want to share with you something that so many people do not know and they are putting their Facebook account at risk by doing this all the time.
As we all know Facebook in a place to meet new people and share new ideas. Most people just simple get their affiliate links and spam them all over the walls in groups and Fanpages. This has nothing to do with Facebook marketing at all.
That’s great because what these people are doing is going to get their accounts banned.
Yes I know they can start a new one on a different email but that will also get banned.
So you maybe thinking why am I writing this to help these people out.
Well firstly there is no danger of them ever seeing this post, they don’t take the time to educate themselves as they don’t have the time to educate themselves. They are far to busy spamming the walls of groups with their links to the next big thing they have joined.
Secondly, I am writing this for the people who do want to educate themselves, since you are reading this you must want to be able to do things in a better way, right?
Good then let’s move on with this Facebook training.
So you may not realise what you are doing is anything wrong but it can be quite damaging to your account especially if you have made a lot of contacts of the years.
Before we look at the website URL’s that cause problems let’s take a look at how Facebook works with regards to links.
Facebook doesn’t really like links to other websites, it takes their users from Facebook to another website where that user could spend money.
Facebook is a business and it makes its money from the sponsored ads on the side bar. Now at the time of writing this Facebook is changing its layout and some of you will have already noticed the change, but ultimately Facebook wants you to stay on the site so it can sell you products and services.
Let make no mistake folks, Facebook is first a marketing machine, second a social platform or though for us on the outside it is the other way round!
Facebook Training – Which URL’s Your Should Avoid
The URLs that Facebook hates the most are the bit.ly type ones. Anything that has gone through a shortener and then you start post that you’re really asking for trouble. Facebook considers these to be spam and you will get a warning.
You will also be asked to fill out capcha codes after posting repeatedly the same link. This will eventually get your account shutdown.
On the other hand Facebook doesn’t seem to mind URL’s that go to blog posts. I seem to be able to post my blog quite freely around the groups without too much trouble.
However you still need to be very careful with what you are doing and please don’t post to fast, maybe 2 or 3 times then do something else like adding friends or responding to messages.
So is there a work around so you can post without getting on Facebook’s bad books?
Well if you remember I said that Facebook wants to keep you and other users on the site so they can market to you.
What I do is very simple and it works extremely well.
Use Facebook’s own domain and URL!
Let’s say you have a video , instead of posting the Youtube link upload to Facebook and post that link into the groups instead.
What you are doing is sending people to another Facebook page so they are not leaving the site.
You can also do this with documents as well, events work in the same manner but you need to be careful you don’t upset the group owners by publishing your event all over their wall.
I use this method for videos and can easily do 20 – 30 groups very quickly one after the other.

Now I cannot be held responsible for people who have read this and then lost their account. This post is based on my own personal experience with Facebook and not actual Facebook terms and conditions with regards to posting links.
My point is, if you know what you are doing and your are sensible you should never run into any problems on Facebook.

The truth is that you cannot close a prospect if it is not the right time for them, they are the wrong person or they are at the wrong point of the process. They have to be in the right time and place for them at that point.
If they are not ready to commit then you have absolutely no chance of signing them into your business.

Mystery and Attraction – You have to create an air of mystery about what you have to offer, this is the first part of the process. You also want to offer value so that people are attracted to you. Don’t give out all the information, but just enough so they fill out the capture for or give you a call.
If you do that then you have created mystery and attraction because that person wants to know what you are doing and how you are doing it.
Wait Before Calling Them – Now this one really surprised me as I always thought you should connect with a prospect as soon as that lead came in, not so. If you wait then they will assume that you are always busy. Busy people don’t sound desperate, why? Because they are far too busy being busy.
Get Them To Call You Back – Now if a prospect calls you then just say to them you are with other people right now doing a presentation and can they call you back in an hour. Always ask what the call is about, they may be quite vague or not at this point.
What you are doing is qualifying that person, if they call back then they really want to talk with you about your business opportunity, if they are not really that serious about the opportunity they will not call back. The point is in that hour you can be doing something more constructive and your prospects are qualifying themselves for your time.
Get Them to Call Again in 30 Minutes – So when they call back just tell them you are still dealing with something but you will be done in 30 minutes. Get them to watch a video of your presentation while they are waiting.
This I thought was very cool as if you have a kick ass company presentation they are going to be pumped up when they call back. They are already in the right time, and right place and you have just given them a little sweetener so they will want to join.
