Why Use Article Marketing?

Article marketing is a great way to generate leads so I wanted to put together a list of article directories for you to submit to for FREE.

There are hundreds of directories online but I am going to give you a list of the best article directories you can submit to.

Before I go and give you the list I have been using article marketing for sometime now and have found it to be a great way to build a business online. The reason is it performs 2 tasks for me.

The first is I can generate leads through the author box or signature box provided by each article directory. You can have these point at your blog and a capture page which will generate leads for you.

You can also use your keyword as the anchor text in the signature box. Some directories provide a link button or some you need to add a bit of code.

For the keyword “lead generation” the code would look like this, <a href=http://www.YOURWEBSITE.com>lead generation</a> , your website address would be hidden and the words lead generation would be clickable.

The second is that I can get a back link to my blog and this is very important for generating traffic and building your business. You can also send your traffic to capture pages as well and this works really well for converting to leads.

Obviously there are a lot more sites out there and to be honest you could spend a lot of your time submitting to then but this would take you all day which would leave you know time to write more articles.

Another thing is that you should look at article marketing as a long term strategy, but it is one that will pay off over and over again for the coming years.

You see each article that you write will stay on the internet forever, generating you traffic forever. Another good reason to use article marketing is the fact that it will go viral. If somebody likes your article then they will add it to their own directory, and they have to keep all the original links in place.

So now, without any work on your part, your article has ended up on one, two maybe more different directories hence there is no need to waste time submitting to them all.

Article marketing really is a great way to build your business, your own personal brand and once you get started it takes very little time to produce a great article.
