There are so many different types of lead generation techniques you can use to build your business that we are all spoilt for choice. There are lot of online lead generation tactics as well as offline tactics, some work others don’t, some will make you rich while others will make your poor.
It really is no wonder why so many people get lead generation wrong and never get more than a few leads each week. It’s not all doom and gloom because there are many lead generation techniques that work and will generate lots of leads each and everyday.
In this post I am going to share with you simple strategies that will bring in a tremendous amount of leads. What’s more, if you set these up correctly you will still have leads coming into your business in years to come from the work you will do today.

Blogs – As with anything online you should have a blog as your central hub and that blog must have lots of places to capture your visitors name and email address. But having that alone will not generate leads, you have to offer something of value. This will be in your free gift and the posts you write on your blog. You must keep them informative, interesting and entertaining. You want people to click your links because you have provided valuable content that helps them.
Capture Pages – These should be part of your blog in your call to action. Capture pages are great to capturing visitor’s details but they shouldn’t be use on social media sites. Just stick to using as your call to action on your blog and article directories if they allow.
Article Writing – This is a very powerful strategy as long as you are consistent in writing fresh content. You must also have a strong call to action at the end of each posts with two links, one to a blog posts and the other to your capture page. You must keep the flow off the article going so the reader will click on the link to get more answers.
Video Marketing – Words are great and a picture speaks a 1000 words so imagine the power of video to get your message across. You could give free training, tutorials or just about anything you can thinks of and always guide the viewer to click the link to get more information or answers.
Social Media – This can really be your play ground for finding out what people are struggling with and offering a solution. This is where you can really show your true worth and share your content with the world. Also you must setup your profile correctly and add your blog and capture page links so people get optin.
Pay Per Click – This is a quick way to generate a lot leads but you have to know what you are doing or you will spend more than you make. Make sure you have had some training and understand what it is you need to do with this type of technique.
You will notice that all these lead generation techniques have one thing in common, and that is to provide value to your visitors. You must offer a free gift, some training, an ebook or whatever as long as it is something they can use to help them grow their business.
This is the start of the relationship building process, so want to be someone that is actually going to help them rather than pitch your opportunity to them as soon as they fill out the optin form.
By using these lead generation techniques you will never have to look for leads for sale on the internet ever again. This is a practise that I recommend that you stay well clear of and you should just follow the strong techniques I have set out above.

Great list! I believe that you need to do each of those things you mentioned. Your blog should be first and foremost, as you mentioned, it is your central hub on the internet.
One little secret that many people do not know about article marketing is that; Once you have published a post on your blog and this is important, it has been indexed by the search engines. You can republish that content to article directories, without spinning or rewriting the article, because you wrote it. It will be accepted by even ezinearticles.com, one of the hardest article directories to get published too.
