Mobile Social Media Mobile Social Media Apps

What an exciting age we live in that we can have mobile social media to stay connected with family, friends and business contact wherever we are in the world.

Over the last 20 years or so mobile phones have come a long way and today they can do just about anything you want.

In this post I am going to talk about some of the different apps I use on my iPhone. These are great if you are still working full time or have a busy schedule away from your network marketing business.

These really have made a massive difference to me, because I can do Facebook marketing while out and about instead of waiting until I get home to do it. Because of mobile social media I can now save so much team and make my day more productive.

Ok so lets take a look at some of my favourite mobile social media apps. Most you will have heard of before but there is one or two surprise in there as well.

Mobile Social Media Apps To Explode Your Business

Facebook – This app should be part of your social media marketing plan and on your phone. The app has been up graded quite a lot and is identical to the actual website itself these days. You can stay connected to everyone you know, send email, update your status and post content into groups.

This app is great for because I can do pretty much all my Facebook marketing while I am away from my laptop. A massive time saver for mums and dads waiting for the kids after school.

LinkedIn – This is has the same functions as the Facebook app so its also a great time saver.

Attraction Marketing System

Twitter – Keep up date with all the people who are following you and who you follow. You can send out a bunch of tweets, retweet other peoples content and build relationships with people through twitter. Here is a free webinar that will show you how to get the best out of Twitter. Click here for the webinar.

Skype – I have this but done use it too often as it eats bandwidth like no tomorrow. However still useful to have if you need to IM somebody while you are out.

FB Groups – This app will list all of the groups you belong too in one easy place. You can still do everything you would normal do on Facebook, like posting, likes and updates. The only down side is that if you are posting links to your blog post it can’t display the image like it can when you post from a computer. However if this is not a concern for you post away.

GoToMeeting – I found this app last night when I had one of those ah ha moments and couldn’t believe it when they had one.  Not used it yet but it looks simple enough, just simple add the meeting ID and your name and it will let you join the meeting. Again this one could eat a lot of bandwidth but it’s always an option if you really can’t be near a computer at the time of a webinar.

Mobile Social Media – Get More From Your Smart Phone

These mobile social media apps are a great way to get your social media content out to your followers wherever you might be. Since investing in a new smart phone I have been able to keep in better contact with prospects.

Of course all of this works so much better if you have a training system to plug your team into which is why you should have My Lead System Pro in your tool box. If your business is not growing at the rate you want it too then you need to check out this video for the 100 Day Biz Builders Challenge.

Add Social Media Buttons to Your Blog

Add Social Media ButtonsAdd Social Media Buttons to Your Blog For Social Proof

I have been blogging for over 2 years now and the first thing I did was to add social media buttons to my blog. Back then I did know much about anything really but I did know that I need traffic and by having social media buttons I could make that traffic go viral.

So why is it important to add social media buttons to your blog in the first place?

Well I mentioned about my social media content going viral and one of the easiest ways to do that is let people share on Facebook and Twitter.  People will tend to read what their friends have suggested, so if your content is good more people will share it and then more will come and read and share themselves.

It’s a great circle to be in, the more shares the more eyes that will see you work.

But in order to get all of this traffic you need to make it easy for your readers to share your content. One of the best plug-ins to do this is Digg-Digg which is the one I have at the top of this post. (please use it a share this post, it will be appreciated!)

Add Social Media Buttons Like DiggDigg

There are many more but for me this is the best one I have found. You can get this plug-in for free in your WordPress back office. Also search out any others that you might be interested in using.

Digg-Digg is very easy to use with minimal setup required. You simple pick which icons you want on your posts and hit save. I wouldn’t go for too many as this will slow your blog down. There is a function that will load the icons after the page but I have found this to be a bit temperamental from time to time.

You can have the icons before your content, after it or floating to the left or right. It will depend on the design of your blog but most people go for the top of the post. After the content works well if your blog is setup so that when somebody leaves a comment that comment goes to the top of the list and the social media buttons are there for them to use.

Add Social Media Buttons For Free Traffic

When you add social media buttons you want to make it easy for your readers to find them. I have been on some blogs and it has been difficult to find the buttons to share.  I have even been on some blogs where there are no buttons at all. That really is leaving from traffic for other people.

Another reason to have social media buttons is for your own social proof. If readers are seeing content that has lots of shares then they will want to know why it is so popular and read on.

So don’t deny yourself the opportunity to get free traffic, lots of social proof and the chance to increase your search engine ranking. Add social media buttons to your blog today.

If you want to find out how your business can explode by using social media then you must check out this short video unless youyou are already generate 100s of free leads a day. Click here to watch the video.

Social Media Marketing Tips

In these social media marketing tips I will show you how you can get the best out of Facebook to grow your business.

Facebook is a monster of a site with over 800 million users and rising. So it’s fair to say that there is a very large market to tap into.

Facebook is really broken down into two parts, you have your personal profile and your have Like Pages.

You profile is the place where people can get to know who you are and your Like Page should be used for your business.

I want to talk about each one of these in more detail to give you some social media marketing tips that will help you with your business.

Social Media Marketing Tips for Facebook

Facebook Profile – This has a limit of 5000 friends which is more than enough for anybody. Your profile is going to be the first place people look when they want to find out who you are so make sure you have added plenty of content about your life. There is nothing worse than going to somebody’s profile and they haven’t taken the time to fill it out.

Since most people use their Facebook profile for business, which is against Facebook terms and conditions it really is important to set it up correctly the first time. Add pictures of you and your family, list your interests and hobbies. This is a great ice breaker with people and gives them something to connect with you with.

Having a Facebook profile will increase your social media presence online. However adding a Like Page into the mix will take it to a whole new level.

Like Pages – These are very different from your page and they can be used for business. There is no limit to the amount of Likes you have. Just to let you know Like Pages used to be called Fan Pages. The cool thing about Like Pages is that they are listed in Google. You can set them up pretty much the same as your profile and you should give as much detail as possible to get your name and brand in front of a many people as possible.

With a like page you can add different apps like Youtube and Twitter. I would also add NetworkedBlogs as this will import your latest blog post directly onto your Like Page wall so that everyone who has liked your page can see it.

One of the new features with Like Pages is that you can use Facebook as your Like profile. This will allow you to post on other  people like pages, obviously don’t go round spamming your content on their wall as they will not be too impressed with you. Post things like inspirational quotes and comment on their content and this will attract more likes to you own page.

In summary of these social media marketing tips add a plugin to your blog so people can like your page right off your blog. I have found this to be a great way of add new people to my own page.

As with anything on social media, always lead with value and give people want they want. Facebook and all the other social media sites are a great place to meet new people. Just remember to build your relationship first and business second.

Become part of that elite group who are working from home and have the time freedom so many seek. Here is a video that offers you all the tools you need to see the success you are deserving of.

Best Social Networking Sites

Where are the best social networking sites to be found for you online business?

Well in this post I am going to share with you the top 3 sites you must be using to build your business online.

These sites should be part of your social media marketing plan and all of them are used in pretty much that same way. By that I mean the content you share would be the same for all 3 sites and the way you interact with other users would be the same.

Obviously there will be differences in the way the sites work but most of them are pretty much the same, with the same sort of functions.

So the 3 best social networking sites are:

  • Facebook
  • LinkedIn
  • Twitter

3 Best Social Networking Sites Explained

Facebook – This is the king of social networking with something like over 800 million users. You can pretty much do anything you like on this site, within reason of course. This is a great place for social media branding as you can set up groups and Fan pages. Pages are listed in Google so they can be a very powerful tool.

You can set up your profile so that people can see who you are and what you can do. You can connect with millions of people from around the world who share similar interests to you.  However there is a certain way to act on Facebook if you want to see results. More on that in a bit.

LinkedIn – This is a very similar site to Facebook but it is more targeted towards business minded people. You will see a lot of the same people on LinkedIn as you do on Facebook, however the etiquette is very different.

The level of junk spam that you find on Facebook is less on LinkedIn although it seems to be creeping up over the last 6 months or so.

Twitter – This site is very different than the other but it is one of the best social networking sites around at the moment. It is more like a mine blog where you can post anything up to 140 characters long.   There is a lot of spam on Twitter which makes it such a great place to stand out from the crowd.

Twitter is great for getting back links to your blog or website and for finding people in your niche who you would like to connect with.

Best Social Networking Sites Etiquette

With all 3 sites I have mentioned there are a couple of things you need to know before you head off, set up your profile and start telling the world about your great product and business.

Social networking sites are there for people to meet new people. The biggest problem is that people tend to sit behind the computer screen and think it’s OK to spam the links everywhere.  Remember these are really people and they don’t care about how great your opportunity is.

Start by building relationships with people first, find out what they currently do for a living, there family, what hobbies and interests they have. Once you have built that relationship then you can introduce them to you business if it’s the right thing to do.

If you always lead with value and show a genuine interest in other people this will increase your social media influence across all 3 sites.

So that is my 3 best social networking sites that you can use as part of your  social media success in building your business.

Become part of that elite group who are working from home and have the time freedom so many seek. Here is a video that offers you all the tools you need to see the success you are deserving of.
