Affiliate Marketing Tutorial – There Are Two Types of Affiliates
I wanted to write this affiliate marketing tutorial blog posts to explain the difference between the two types of affiliate programs you can join. There are many different programs out there and as long as you avoid the affiliate marketing scams you will be able to make a tremendous income.
There are two ways for you to become an affiliate of a company and its both of these ways I want to look at today. With the right affiliate training you will be able to find a legitimate business to work with.
Affiliate Marketing Tutorial Help
So where can you find a great affiliate company to work with?
Well the first place to look is with some of the products you are currently using. Things like Aweber and TribePro have programs you can sign up to, and they both have great affiliate marketing tutorial videos and training.
I would consider these and others like them to be legitimate affiliate companies. They offer a great product, as a reasonable price, have great track records and will be around for a long time to come. They are also free to join and pay a very good commission.
The second type of affiliate program is the lead generation program where you pay a monthly subscription to be a member. These are also called funded proposals but you are an affiliate of that particular company.
Some affiliate guides will tell you that only free affiliate programs are legitimate, but this is not quite true. As long as you follow an affiliate marketing guide you will find that these affiliate programs offer so much more than just the free ones.
Now I’m not saying the free ones are bad, on the contrary I would activity urge you to sign up for all the affiliate programs with the products you use. Also make sure your team signs up for them as well so they make extra income.
You just have to remember that you will only be making an income from these affiliate programs and nothing more. You will not be building your own list so therefore you will be unable to market to that list.
A lead generation system where you can retail the system to others will generate you a residual income each month, also they will show you how to build your own list which is the most important aspect of affiliate marketing. The affiliate marketing tutorial videos and training will show you this and explain why it is so important.
So where as your free to join affiliate program will earn you substantial income, you will never own the list of people you bring into the program. With a paid affiliate system you will be building your own list and your own future.

There are literally thousands of people who are making great incomes and sometimes it is their only source of income, through affiliate marketing.
However, it is very true what you say here, that as an additional source of income for MLM professionals, affiliate marketing can be very handy.
There are pro’s and con’s associated with each as a stand-alone business model, but combining them enables you to create an income stream that can give you some quick, even repetitive cash flow (affiliate marketing) as well as the benefit of a long-term growing residual income through MLM.
