I Can’t Think of Any Blog Posting Ideas!

We all get writers block from time to time and trying to come up with blog posting ideas can be challenge at the best of times. So where do you come up with ideas for blog posts on a daily basis and unblock writers block?

In this post I want to give you some hints and tips on some of the topics you can write about on your blog. These are the everyday things that you see, hear and learn which can be turned into great posts.

As a tip I always keep a pen and note pad near my laptop to write down any ideas I get for post. I will guarantee if you are like me after an hour you would have forgotten what that great post was going to be about.

Blog Posting Ideas to Keep You Busy

• People always love “How To” blog posts and it is one of the things people search for on the internet. I find this to be one of the best blog topics to write about. This is one of the best ways to position you as a leader in your particular market or niche. Since Google is the world’s largest instruction manual this is one to think about when looking for great blog posting ideas.
• Adding videos to your blog is a great way to cater for all your readers’ tastes and keep everyone happy. Your videos can be tutorial by showing reader something technical, they could be a review or educational with you in front of a camera. The possibilities are endless with video and good blog ideas.
• You could write posts about personal development as this is an area where lots of people are very interested in at the moment. Draw on your own experience from your working days or training courses you have attended. You could break the post into 3 or 4 separate posts.
• Book reviews are great and I know lots of bloggers who belong to book reading groups and they write blog posts about the chapter they read each week. As far as blog posting ideas go this one is putting what you read into your own words and how you perceive the message in the book.
• Product or company reviews are very popular as you can do all sorts of things with these. With a product you can show people how it works and the results you have got from using it. With company reviews you can look at maybe helping people who are looking to join the particular business. You can really creative with this kind of blog post.
• And finally the good old Top 10 or Best 5 of something. People love to read lists of things and these posts are always a winner. You can just about write a post on any subject you like from chocolate bars to the top 10 Tweets of 2011.

These are just some of the blog posting ideas you can use and you really should have enough content to keep you going for a long time.

As I said early have a way of recording your blog post ideas, be it on a note pad or on your phone as you never know when you will have great blog posting ideas.

I want to share with you the 5 blog post tips for things I do when publishing a blog post on WordPress. I’m not writing about how to write a post or the content you could put in a post. This is about the little things you can do to benefit you post.

These will make your post stand out and look good. One tip will make it more appealing when you post in groups on Facebook. Another will get your readers to interact with you and also send them to another part of your blog.

Your Blog Post URL.

When you add your post title, WordPress will give it a URL which will be http://YourBlogName.com/posttitle and I would suggest that you shorten this down, especially if it is a long title. If you have any form of punctuation such as apostrophes, commas or question marks just remove them when editing the URL. For some reason your address bar will convert those to a string of code which looks messy. Also place your some or all of your keywords in the new URL as this will help your SEO.

Add an Image.

I always add an image to the top left side of the post and put my text around it. The reason I do this is it makes the post look better and not just plain text. Also when you put links in Facebook groups back to your blog, Facebook will use the image as a thumbnail making your wall post stand out from others. I get all my images from Google images and I use Jing to get them. If you don’t have Jing yet head over to Jing Project and download your free copy. I scale the image down to 250 pixels wide, WordPress back office software will do this for you.

Add links to other blog, sites or posts in your own blog.

A good tip is to add links to other blog or websites. It helps SEO and also if you’re giving away free stuff like Jing it helps your readers find what you have told them about easier. Might sound like I’m telling you to suck eggs but I have seen some blogs with great information but no clickable link to the recommendation. Also when you are adding the link always open the dropdown menu next to the word “Target” and select “Open link in new window”. What this will do is open up the link in a new window leaving your blog open on the original window. This keeps people on your blog longer and they don’t have to try and find you again if they close the linked window.

Call Too Action.

At the end of your post you should always put a call to action. Ask your readers for comments and questions. Ask them to share the post on Facebook, Twitter and the other social sites you have. I like to also take the opportunity to thanks them for their visit and offer them a “FREE Gift” which is a link to another part of my blog. You will be amazed just by adding a call to action just how many people respond to it and leave a comment. Well worth doing.

Signature

And lastly at the bottom of your page you add your signature which you can get free from My Live Signature They have many different styles and fonts to chose from or you can upload your own signature and they will convert it for a small fee. You could also head over to Wise Stamp and make your own custom signature with picture, links to your social site, your last blog post. This one can be used as an email signature as well as on your blog.

That’s my 5 tips to make your content stand out and help your readers into the bargain. There are many more things you can do so get creative, it is your blog at the end of the day.

There are two ways that you can build your Network Marketing business. First chase your family and friend and keep badgering them until you become an NFL (No Friends Left). You can stand in shopping malls pestering complete strangers and leave fliers on cars.

Or second, you can work from the comfort of your own home and all your leads and business come to you and also keep your credibility in network marketing.

Which one would you prefer to do?

Well mine, like most people is the second and it’s called attraction marketing. I want to share with you my 5 reasons why you need attraction marketing in your business. These are just my 5, there are many more but these are the ones that have really made my life so much better.

1. First and foremost, you position yourself as a leader even if you are brand new to this industry. You can start simple by learning a particular skill, say how to generate leads on Facebook. Write some articles and post them on the internet. By helping others first you will help yourself in the long run. Who you would prefer to do business with, somebody who has taken the time to show you how to do something like generate leads on Facebook or somebody who has no interest in you and just pitches their business opportunity to you?
2. Attraction marketing coupled to a great Lead Generation System will sort all the time wasters from the serious people for you. All this can be done on auto pilot so you only talk with the most qualified people. Imagine cold calling 50 people a day who have no interest in what you have to offer. How much time is that going to take? You have no idea that they don’t care about your product or service so all you are on is a fishing trip. You might get a bite but don’t count on it. With an attraction marketing system and lead generation system you can show your product or service to 10 times that amount 24 hours a day 7 days a week 365 days a year. Sounds good right!
3. No selling. When I started out I did not want to sell and was informed by my upline that this is not a selling business. Great I thought until you find out you have to sell products to make money. I’m not a sales person and I never wanted to be but with attraction marketing there is no need to learn how to sell. This is because it’s about building relationships and trust with people. I only ever buy from people who I trust, never from people who offer no value.
4. Attraction marketing is about branding you and not your company. There could be millions of people all promoting the same MLM company but there is only one you so you can stand out. If all those people are using the same replicated website and company literature what differentiates them from each other? Nothing, they are all offering the same thing but if you are using attraction marketing you will be marketing yourself and your skills to help others by adding value. This was a breakthrough for me when I found attraction marketing and paired that up with a lead generation system which can be fully customised to brand me as the product. This is very important.
5. The ability to start earning an income from multiple sources so I could learn the skills needed to become successful in this industry. By making small commissions on products but having different commission streams money can be made from day one. I look as my primary business as a pension fund, it’s where I will get my residual income from and the biggest part of my income. However I am not relying on my primary business as an only source of income which can take years to build up. By learning attraction marketing and having a lead generation system in place has kept me in the game for longer as it has never cost me any money.

That’s my 5 reasons why you must learn attraction marketing. Yours might very well be different from mine and they will be the reasons why it has helped you.

What To Send Your Facebook Groups

If you have been on Facebook for any amount of time you will have undoubtedly joined a few Facebook groups. We all belong to lots but do you take any notice of what the group owners is sending you?

There are a handful of Facebook groups that I open up the emails they send me as I know that it will be worth reading. The vast majority is not, just spam to join the next best opportunity.

If you have a group or are thinking of starting one here are 3 things you can email out to your group members to keep them in your group. Your Facebook groups should be just like your list that you are building through your auto responder.

Send Blog Post or Video To Your Facebook Groups

Your group members are the life blood of your group. Without them you have no group so what better way of thanking them by sending out a link to your other group member with their blog or video post. Not all your members will participate in the group and that’s up to them but you will always get people who will post quality content. After a while others will start to join in when they see the exposure a few group members are getting. As long as you are sending out good content the members will love it.

Invite Your Facebook Groups to Webinars

If you have a weekly webinar send out the invites to your group. I do this once a week for the My Lead System Pro webinar. This webinar really is one of the best around, full of the very best content on the internet. This is a great way to get valuable training right into the hands of your group members.

Your Own Blog and Videos

When you make a new post send it out to your group members. This is a great way to get traffic to your post, build your own brand and share your expertise with your group members. Don’t forget to add a call to action. Ask for a comment and for them to share your work. It really works but it’s like the old saying goes if you don’t ask you don’t get.

If you are doing this on a regular basis you can send out a link to a product or affiliate link once in a while. This won’t be looked on a spam as long as you send out more value then links. I would suggest one link a week is more than enough as long as you have sent out valuable content a couple of times a day.

Education and Leadership For Success

In business and in life, education and leadership forms an essential part of your success whatever industry you are involved with or how you make your living.

Everybody needs to have some form of education be from you school days or from the thing you learn yourself.

Also everyone needs good leadership, someone to look up to and learn from. As you can see you can have one without the other, both go hand in hand.

For a long time in my business I didn’t see the point of all this education and leadership stuff. Just show me what to do and I can follow.

Result – no sign ups, lots of money spent and lots of frustration in my life.

So lets dissect each one in turn and look at the bigger picture.

Education – As I have already mentioned this can come in the form of your schooling or the things you learn on a daily basis. I think the quote above from Jim Rohn sum education up perfectly don’t you?

One of the things I never did too much of was reading educational books from leaders in the industry. (see how they go together). In fact I didn’t do any reading at all, except for blog posts and watch a few videos.

Nothing wrong in doing that but now I read at least one chapter of the book I am currently reading each day. This has had a massive difference in my own personal mindset as even just that small amount of information builds up and you get a snow ball effect.

Investing in yourself is one of the most powerful things any human can do, once you have that education nobody can take it away from you and for the most part you can do pretty much anything you want with it for the rest of your life.

Making that sort of investment should be looked on as an investment and too be honest it really is not that expensive to check out books on Amazon.

Leadership – In some way we are all leaders, we may be leaders of our own household or the leader of a country. But what separates some leaders from others?

You have been paying attention right? Okay you got it its education!

Leader will invest in their education and they will learn from other leaders. They will read books on a daily basis. It is the reason why they are so successful and at the end of the day they are just like everyone else, they all have their faults and things that will annoy their better half.

But they all have one thing in common and that is to be like a sponge and soak up as much education and new ideas as possible.
